Qatar’s culture and religion don't differ much from the other countries of the Persian Gulf. On the other hand, they started to allow Catholic and Christian churches in the country. Moreover, alcohol, which is generally forbidden in Islam, is allowed but only in certain areas. Despite the freedom of religion, it is best always to show respect towards others, especially in their practices.
